AT&T Internet and AT&T Fiber
Fiber where available
Symmetrical tiers
AT&T's current San Antonio page confirms residential
internet service in the city and advertises speeds up
to 5 Gbps where available. The same page currently lists
Internet 300 at $35 per month plus tax and Internet 500
at $50 per month plus taxes and fees before applicable
discounts.
AT&T describes the 300 Mbps and 500 Mbps tiers as having
equal upload and download speeds. Its page also warns
that the plans have limited availability and may not be
offered in every area.
For San Antonio residents, the relevant question is
therefore whether the specific address qualifies for
AT&T fiber and which tier appears in the address-level
checkout result.

GFiber
Fiber
Symmetrical speeds
1–8 Gbps
GFiber operates a fiber-to-the-home network in San Antonio.
Its current San Antonio page lists three current products:
Core 1 Gig at $70 per month, Home 3 Gig at $100 per month,
and Edge 8 Gig at $150 per month.
GFiber states that its 1 Gig, 3 Gig and 8 Gig products
offer matching upload and download speeds up to the
advertised tier. These are product specifications, not
evidence that every San Antonio address can order every
tier.
GFiber's current Texas service-area page specifically
names Leon Valley, East Side and Windcrest under San
Antonio. GFiber has also publicly documented earlier
expansion around Stone Oak and Encino.

Spectrum
Cable
Fiber in some locations
Spectrum remains a major wired internet provider in
San Antonio, but describing its local network simply as
"cable" is no longer sufficient. Spectrum's current
San Antonio page explicitly markets Spectrum Fiber
Internet in the area.
Spectrum also describes its traditional Spectrum Internet
service as being powered by fiber and connected to the
premises by coaxial lines. That means two San Antonio
addresses can potentially receive different technologies
and upload-speed profiles from the same provider.
Spectrum requires a street address and ZIP code to
determine the services and offers available at a
particular location. The exact technology should
therefore be checked rather than inferred from the
provider name.

T-Mobile 5G Home Internet
Fixed wireless
Unlimited data
T-Mobile Home Internet uses the company's wireless network
rather than a dedicated fiber or coaxial line to the
residence. That makes address-level network conditions
particularly important.
T-Mobile's current Broadband Facts disclosure for
Amplified Home Internet lists a $70 monthly price and
typical download speeds of 170–498 Mbps, typical uploads
of 12–55 Mbps and typical latency of 16–28 milliseconds.
T-Mobile states that these figures are typical ranges,
not guarantees for an individual address.
T-Mobile also says performance can vary with location,
time of day, signal strength, network conditions and
availability.

Verizon 5G Home Internet
Fixed wireless
Address-dependent
Verizon has a dedicated home-internet page for San Antonio
and offers 5G Home Internet through its cellular network.
Verizon requires an address-level availability check to
determine which service and plan can be ordered.
Verizon's current 5G Home lineup describes plans with
advertised maximum download speeds of up to 100 Mbps,
150 Mbps and 300 Mbps, depending on the plan. Verizon
states that 5G Home performance varies with factors
affecting its cellular network.
A nearby Verizon 5G signal therefore should not be
treated as proof that a residence qualifies for the
corresponding home-internet product.
